Fireball Cinnamon Whisky Debuts High Top Sneakers With a Pouch to Hide a Flask of Booze

Over the past few years, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky has released enough novelty merch items to fill an entire museum. Fans have had their pick of the litter from custom suit jackets, kegs, lipstick, golf clubs, lingerie and Kentucky Derby hats. If that museum had a cafe, you’d even be able to order Fireball barbecue dry rub and Fireball-flavored caviar.

At long last, collectors now have a chance to upgrade their basketball shoe game.

On Wednesday, the best-selling flavored whisky brand unveiled Fireball Sneaks, a limited-edition pair of black and red high-tops that don’t look entirely dissimilar to the original Jordan 1s. Since this is a Fireball release, it should come as no surprise that these hide a flashy gimmick. Unzip the tongue of each shoe to reveal a hidden pocket that holds a Stash Flask, a flexible 200-milliliter pouch designed to hold four shots of whisky at a time.

The brand is only offering 50 pairs to lucky winners. On July 24th, customers can enter via Flaviar for a chance at the $25 bundle, and the entry window will reportedly be open for just one hour between 9 am and 10 am CST.

The bundle includes one pair of Fireball Sneaks, a 66-proof Stash Flask, an extra pair of yellow laces and a custom drawstring shoe bag. Fireball is also selling the Stash Flasks individually at retailers nationwide, where they can be purchased in 42- and 66-proof varieties for $3.99 per pouch.

“Sneaker culture is all about being ready for what’s next — whether that’s chasing a drop or making memories with friends,” Danny Suich, Senior Global Brand Director for Fireball, said in a news release. “That same hype around discovery and the element of surprise inspired the Stash Flask and our Sneaks. We’re celebrating the unplanned moments that turn a casual hang into something bigger, from backyard kickbacks to plans that go off-script.”

Believe it or not, it’s not Fireball’s first foray into the world of kicks. In 2022, the brand partnered with DC Shoes for a pair of Fireball-branded sneakers that featured a red suede upper and a whisky-inspired gum sole. Those pairs are now being hawked by resellers online for as much as $150, and we’d be willing to guess that Fireball Sneaks will soon meet the same fate.
