The spirit of summer is alive and well in Frankfort, Kentucky, where the critically acclaimed Buffalo Trace Distillery is setting up a summer camp poured to the brim with bourbon tastings, daily contests and glamping galore.

On Tuesday, the whiskey hotspot unveiled Camp Buffalo Trace, an adults-only experience set to take place from Aug. 29 through Sept. 5. In lieu of Capture the Flag and friendship bracelet circles, attendees will have the chance to participate in themed activities — all of which, unsurprisingly, revolve around booze.

Campers can partake in a woodcraft workshop, using a wooden muddler to reclaim bourbon barrel staves, or compete against one another to drive bungs (cork-like stoppers) into whiskey casks. There will also be a blind tasting and Buffalo Trace trivia team session, alongside a single barrel challenge in which guests will have to identify bourbons across three different ages.

It wouldn’t be a summer camp without a campsite. The team has erected a miniature village of air-conditioned canvas tents, in which guests will find plush robes, slippers and stocked mini fridges loaded with Freddie’s Old-Fashioned Sodas, a nod to famed Buffalo Trace tour guide Freddie Johnson.

Would-be attendees are invited to enter the sweepstakes from July 14 through July 21. Heads up: The form is technically open for the time being, but won’t be accepting entries until the official start date. Buffalo Trace will randomly select 90 day-camp winners for each of the eight event days, alongside 10 winners per day who will partake in the overnight experience.

“At Buffalo Trace Distillery, we’re always looking for new ways to create memorable moments for our guests, and Camp Buffalo Trace offers an opportunity to celebrate the fun and connection that make summer so special,”  Tyler Adams, general manager at Buffalo Trace Distillery, said in a news release. “By bringing together interactive activities, bourbon education and overnight camping accommodations, we’ve created a one-of-a-kind program designed to help guests make lasting memories at the Distillery. We look forward to welcoming guests to Camp Buffalo Trace!”
