SVEDKA’s New Vodka Waters Come in Transparent Cans

SVEDKA is entering the growing ready-to-drink market with a new product it says is the world’s first transparent canned vodka water.

The new offering, called SVEDKA Vodka Water, was unveiled Thursday and combines vodka, purified water and fruit flavor in a completely clear can designed to show consumers exactly what’s inside. The product will begin rolling out nationwide this month and will be available year-round in both 12-ounce single cans and eight-pack multipacks.

The launch comes as major alcohol brands continue to pursue lighter, lower-calorie beverages that appeal to consumers seeking simple ingredient lists and sessionable drinking options.

SVEDKA Vodka Water contains 100 calories, zero sugar, zero carbohydrates and no carbonation. The line debuts in four flavors: Strawberry, Peach, Lime and Pineapple.

“Consumers are redefining what they want from drinking occasions,” SVEDKA Senior Brand Director David Binder said in a news release. “They want options that fit seamlessly into their lives without sacrificing flavor or fun.”

Binder described the product as “Vodka Water 2.0,” saying the brand aimed to modernize the classic vodka-and-water combination while emphasizing transparency through the packaging itself.

To support the launch, SVEDKA is bringing back its futuristic “Svedbot” character in a new advertising campaign titled On A Hot Streak. The commercial follows the AI-inspired mascot as she cools down an overheated rooftop party with cans of SVEDKA Vodka Water.

The campaign was developed by Sazerac’s in-house creative agency, The Shop, and produced by San Francisco-based AI innovation studio SILVERSIDE. It is scheduled to begin running across YouTube and Meta platforms on June 22, with additional promotional efforts planned throughout the summer.

The launch adds another entrant to the increasingly competitive RTD category, where spirits companies have spent the past several years experimenting with lighter, convenience-focused products aimed at younger legal-drinking-age consumers.

SVEDKA Vodka Water will be available nationwide beginning in June.
