Heaven Hill Debuts Limited-Edition 10-Year-Old Rittenhouse Rye to Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary

On Thursday, Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the release of the Rittenhouse United States 250th Anniversary Commemorative Edition, a limited-edition 10-year-old Bottled-in-Bond rye whiskey created to mark America’s Semiquincentennial in 2026.
The release celebrates both the 250th anniversary of American independence and the Pennsylvania rye whiskey tradition tied to Rittenhouse Rye, which takes its name from Philadelphia’s historic Rittenhouse Square.
The commemorative whiskey is bottled at 100 proof and aged for 10 years after being distilled from a mashbill of 51% rye, 35% corn and 14% malted barley. The release is composed of 90 barrels aged across multiple rickhouses and warehouse floors, according to Heaven Hill.
The whiskey is non-chill filtered and produced under the standards of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897.
“This special release is a tribute not only to America’s 250 years of independence, but also to the enduring legacy of rye whiskey in our country’s history,” Molly Vincent, associate director of luxury whiskeys at Heaven Hill, said in a news release.
The packaging prominently features “1776–2026” branding along with patriotic red, white and blue elements and Liberty Bell imagery tied to the brand’s Pennsylvania heritage.
Heaven Hill Distillery said the whiskey will be released in limited quantities across select U.S. markets and at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience.
The suggested retail price is $99.99.
