On Wednesday, Heaven Hill Distillery announced the latest release in its highly allocated Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Decanter Series, unveiling a 10-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey scheduled to arrive on shelves in July.

The Spring 2026 edition is the 17th national release in the series and is comprised of barrels distilled in spring 2016 and bottled in spring 2026. As required under the Bottled-in-Bond Act, the bourbon was produced during a single distilling season at one distillery and bottled at 100 proof after more than a decade of aging.

The release has a suggested retail price of $149.99 and will be available in limited quantities nationwide.

Bottled in the series’ signature diamond-shaped decanter, the Spring 2026 edition features the traditional green label used for spring releases. The accompanying tax strip discloses both the distillation and bottling dates, a nod to the transparency requirements that have long defined bottled-in-bond whiskey.

“With every release of the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Decanter Series, we strive to celebrate the time-honored craftsmanship and heritage that have defined this iconic brand for generations,” Heaven Hill Master Distillery Conor O’Driscoll said in a news release. “This 10-year-old Spring 2026 Edition proudly reflects Heaven Hill’s longstanding bottled-in-bond legacy and embodies the quality and character that have become hallmarks of the series.”

According to Heaven Hill, the bourbon opens with aromas of crème brûlée, aged oak and citrus oil. The palate delivers notes of butterscotch, sugar and toasted bread before finishing with caramel, cloves and black pepper.

The Old Fitzgerald Decanter Series has become one of the most sought-after recurring releases in American whiskey since its debut in 2018. Issued twice annually, the collection showcases well-aged expressions of Heaven Hill’s wheated bourbon mashbill, presented in packaging inspired by Old Fitzgerald’s historic decanter bottlings from the mid-20th century.

The Old Fitzgerald brand traces its origins to the late 1800s and was acquired by Heaven Hill as part of its purchase of the Bernheim Distillery and associated whiskey assets in 1999. Once known as a luxury bourbon served aboard railcars, steamships, and in private clubs, Old Fitzgerald has since become one of the distillery’s flagship premium bourbon brands.
