  • Truly a phenomenal pour. I’m so happy this bottle is in the program — it’s one that won’t last long, and I’ll definitely need to replace it!

  • Nose:

S'mores all day long with this one. I love the toasted, almost burnt marshmallow smell that comes off this whiskey. On the back end, there are rich oak aromas as well. Woodford Double Oaked has always been a favorite nose of mine, and this one is as good as they come!

  • Taste:

Up front, you’re greeted immediately with a nice amount of oak tannins that transition beautifully into buttery toffee and — again — s'mores! I even picked up a nice hint of cherry with a cocoa note, like a chocolate-covered cherry.

  • Finish:

For the proof, I’m amazed at how long the finish is on this bottle. The oak lingers with the perfect mouthfeel, and it honestly tastes like you just ate a rich dessert and these are the lingering aftereffects.

  • Overall:

Truly a phenomenal pour. I’m so happy this bottle is in the program — it’s one that won’t last long, and I’ll definitely need to replace it!
