Barron Trump is venturing into the energy drinks market with a Florida twist on a traditionally South American beverage.
According to a flurry of LinkedIn updates over the past month, SOLLOS Yerba Mate will be touching down on convenience store shelves sometime in May. Described as a “lifestyle beverage brand built around yerba mate and clean, functional ingredients,” the drink makes use of a caffeinated leaf widely popular in Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil and Chile. Traditionally consumed by mixing dried leaves with hot water, brands like Yerba Madre have popularized the concoction in the U.S. in canned, energy drink-esque formats. SOLLOS appears to be a continuation of that trend.
Barron Trump, 19, is listed as one of five directors of the company, per a publicly available authorization filing made in January. Rodolfo Castello, Valentino Gomez, Stephen Hall and Spencer Bernstein are listed as fellow directors, with Bernstein also listed as its sole chairman. Bernstein is a recent college graduate and real estate agent who, in 2023, co-listed an $18.95 million residence a few blocks north of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach.
According to the filing, the brand was pitched as “Soulstice” before rebranding as SOLLOS Yerba Mate, as its original name was unavailable in the state of Florida.
Little information has been released about the product ahead of its launch in May, save for a handful of posts on LinkedIn. In one, a 12-pack of SOLLOS is seen floating atop a surfboard; in another, cans of the energy drink are carried through an assembly line as they’re filled and labeled. Though several outlets have reported that the brand is debuting in both Pineapple and Coconut Varieties, packaging suggests that the brand will consist of a single “Pineapple + Coconut” flavor, at least at launch.

“Growing up in South Florida, our lifestyle was shaped by the opportunity to spend time outdoors year-round. That experience led us to create SOLLOS, a beverage designed to complement life in the ‘Sunshine State’,” the company said in its first LinkedIn post.
“‘SOL,’ meaning sun in Spanish, represents the sun rising and the beginning of the day. ‘LOS,’ which is ‘Sol’ spelled backwards, represents the sun setting and the end of the day. Together, SOLLOS captures the full cycle of the sun and that ‘It Begins Where It Ends.'”
The company is headquartered in Palm Beach, Florida, though it is not clear if the beverage is produced there or elsewhere. U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings show that SOLLOS has thus far raised $1 million in capital through private investors.
