WWE Hall-of-Famer Nikki Bella has signed on as an investor and the “Chief Margarita Officer” for Madam Paleta, a flavored tequila brand.
Launched in 2023 by alcohol industry veterans Karla Flores, Natasha Feiger, Anna Dement and Gabrielle Lewis, the brand describes itself as a tribute to the paleta, brightly colored fruit popsicles popular among locals in Mexico. Madam Paleta sells flavor-infused tequilas in Tamarind, Grapefruit and Pineapple varieties, all of which are bottled at 70 proof and cost around $30 at retail.
On Thursday, Bella told Fox News that she had been on the search to join a tequila company for years, inspired both by her Mexican roots and her enduring love for spicy margaritas. The wrestler-turned reality TV star says that Madam Paleta was a perfect fit — doubly so since she wanted to support a women-run business.
“I think it’s important to celebrate every part of who I am, including my Mexican heritage,” Bella said in a news release. “I’ve been waiting for a tequila brand that delivers real 100% Blue Weber agave quality and has the guts to evolve the category. Madam Paleta is doing both with all‑natural flavor and zero shortcuts, proving flavored tequila can be next‑level. And my signature cocktail? A skinny margarita made with Madam Paleta Tamarind. It’s pure magic.”
Madam Paleta says that Bella will have a hands-on relationship with the brand in the years to come, shaping how the tequila shows up from product experiences to cultural moments. Though she’s nominally been appointed as a “Chief Margarita Officer,” it’s safe to say that means spokesperson and face of the brand.
“We built Madam Paleta as women, but we built it for everyone,” co-founder Karla Flores added. “Tequila’s growth is increasing consumer curiosity and bringing more drinkers than ever into the category. Our mission is to give them another exceptional way to enjoy real 100% Blue Weber agave tequila with bold flavors, cultural authenticity, and a welcoming spirit. Nikki’s pride, passion, and fire make her the perfect partner for what’s next for the brand.”
