On Thursday, Bulleit Frontier Whiskey announced the release of Bulleit Rye 10-Year-Old, a whiskey that joins the brand’s 10-year-old bourbon in its portfolio. The rye whiskey is distilled from MGP’s classic mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley.
“Our Bulleit 10-Year Aged Whiskeys showcase the bold, spicy rye-forward flavors that define our brand,” Bulleit Senior Brand Manager Jenika Newsum in a news release. “Each expression is a testament to the meticulous craft of aging and our relentless drive to push the boundaries of American Whiskey. We’re excited to introduce these whiskeys and look forward to unveiling even more innovations that reflect our commitment to whiskey craftsmanship.”
Clocking in at 91.2 proof, Bulleit’s decade-old rye whiskey was aged in new charred American oak barrels. The expression won a Gold Medal at 2024’s San Francisco World Spirits Competition and hosts a suggested retail price of $49.99 a bottle.
Bulleit appears to be a brand with rye on the brain these days. This latest release follows Bulleit’s long-awaited re-release of its fan-favorite 12-year-old rye, which launched in April.
