On Wednesday, WhistlePig Whiskey announced the opening of a whiskey tasting room at the base of Spruce Peak in the Stowe Mountain Resort in Stowe, Vermont.

Described by the brand as “a tiny home turned world-class tasting room,” WhistlePig Tasting Shack sits adjacent to WhistlePig Pavilion, which opened in 2018. WhistlePig Tasting Shack will offer tastes of WhistlePig’s “most sought-after whiskeys” and sell “coveted” bottles and limited-edition merch to guests, according to the brand.

“The opening of the Tasting Shack gives visitors a taste of the WhistlePig distillery right here in its home state of Vermont at Spruce Peak,” Spuce Peak VP of Marketing Kendal Daiger said in a news release. “Our continued partnership with WhistlePig Whiskey speaks to our shared commitment to providing locals and tourists alike with the highest quality experience.”

The WhistlePig Pavilion delivers a full dining experience complete with WhistlePig cocktails. The Tasting Shack brings more of what the brand describes as a “personalized experience” to the table.

“The WhistlePig Tasting Shack provides new ways for the slopeside community to enjoy a taste of the WhistlePig Farm without taking away from their time on the slopes,” WhistlePig Whiskey Vice President of Marketing Alexandra Short said. “We live and breathe Vermont, so bringing our award-winning whiskeys mountainside was a no-brainer.”

The WhistlePig Tasting Shack is open from noon to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays in the Village at Spruce Peak.
