Only 15 Bottles of This Rare Whisky Exist, but You’ll Need $18,000 to buy one

Glenfiddich 1973, a rare 46-year-old whisky finished on Armagnac Cask.
For the first time, Glenfiddich has made its rare whisky portfolio available to anyone to buy. The first bottle available is an $18,000 1973 Glenfiddich. However, there are only 15 of these limited edition bottles.
The bottles will be available for purchase through BlockBar’s innovative NFT platform. The NFT program will enable Glenfiddich to digitize and sell exclusive spirits products as NFTs directly to consumers, whether for personal consumption, collecting, or investment purposes.
William Grant & Sons chief commercial officer Doug Bagley said, “Glenfiddich continues to push boundaries in whisky innovation, and this mindset transcends to those we partner with. We are proud to be the first luxury spirits brand to be available on BlockBar at the time of the launch.”
Consumers can purchase the bottles on a first-come, first-serve basis. So if you’re a whisky connoisseur and have the money to spend, there’s never been such an opportunity to get an extremely rare whisky for your liquor cabinet.
