The Yamazaki Peated Malt Spanish Oak is a single malt Japanese whisky produced at the Yamazaki Distillery in Oyamazaki, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan, and released in 2024 as part of Suntory's Kogei Collection. It uses peated malt sourced from Islay distilleries and is matured in Spanish oak ex-oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a non-chill-filtered expression with no age statement. It is bottled at 43% ABV and retails in the $500 range, though it was originally launched as a travel retail exclusive.
