The Macklowe Blue Label Port Cask Finished Kentucky Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey aged for more than five years and finished for over 12 months in Port casks. It is crafted from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley and bottled at 46% ABV (700 mL). According to the producer, the bourbon delivers aromas of caramel, toasted oak, vanilla and dried fruit. The palate shows pecan, almond and chocolate with leather and citrus accents, leading to a dry, warming finish with light tannic structure, spice and lingering oak.
