  • Nose:

The nose on this one caught me off guard, it's light and airy, almost delicate for something sitting at 120 proof. I get vanilla cake on the front and center with a hint of ripe fruit lingering behind it. Very solid and inviting.

  • Taste:

The palate is where this bottle flips the script. WAY more dark and rich than I was expecting coming off that nose. I get a ton of mixed raspberry and blackberry, it's like biting into fresh dark berries. The balance here is outstanding and the mouthfeel is awesome. Thick, chewy, coats the palate.

  • Finish:

The finish ends with a lot of caramel sweetness and leaves a nice tingle on the tongue!

  • Overall:

Overall this is a phenomenal pour and a great bottle for the summer months.
