Released on July 26, 2025, this is the first 10-year-old bourbon ever released by Starlight Distillery, the Borden, Indiana-based distillery. This bourbon was aged for 10 years in Icône barrels sourced from Napa Valley cooperage Seguin Moreau. Those barrels spent their time aging on the West side of Starlight's Warehouse 2, purportedly the "warmest pocket" of any of its rickhouses. Suggested retail price is set at $250.

  • Nose:

Rich and inviting on the nose. Buttercream, peach rings, graham cracker, pleasant oak, lemon meringue.

  • Taste:

Oily mouthfeel. Nicely oaky and really tasty with some heat. Milk chocolate, custard, strawberry, peach, cinnamon, clove.

  • Finish:

Long finish. Dry tannin wicks the moisture out of the sides of your cheeks as the pour concludes with barrel char, cherry, malted milk balls, French toast, honey, walnut skin, a touch of mint and tobacco.

  • Overall:

A really lovely, distinctive bourbon! This is very tasty stuff. The $250 price tag makes it difficult to recommend you run to purchase a bottle of this, but it is very good.
