Cherry pie, salted peanut shells and corn. Smells like a fresh bakery it’s great on the nose and not typical Russell’s to me.
Perfect proof for this single barrel it’s got a great mouthfeel. The cherry note really shines with this one almost like a Dr Pepper thing going on.
The finish is where it reminds me of Russell’s it’s got a touch of that “dusty” note that they are known for and it’s so balanced.
Overall I’d say this is the BEST Russell’s single barrel that I’ve had in the past 2 years and I’ve tried a ton in that time!
