  • While some may bemoan new batches of a whiskey with fears of inferiority, Redbreast 27 Year Old is only getting better with time. This is an incredible release.

  • Nose:

Huge pear, apple, honey, red berry, toffee and blackberry on the nose. There’s a lot more oak, toffee, espresso, pepper and orange peel on the nose compared to previous releases.

  • Taste:

Rich on the palate, decadent and honey-driven with undertones of mandarin, cherry, blackberry, toffee, sweet peaches and creamy vanilla, apricot and pepper.

  • Finish:

Long, decadent and opulent finish layered with toffee, apricot, cherry, blackberry, pepper and sweet oak.

  • Overall:

While some may bemoan new batches of a whiskey with fears of inferiority, Redbreast 27 Year Old is only getting better with time. This is an incredible release.
