  • It’s notably complex, and while it won’t be every drinker’s perfect cup of tea, the intersection of dry sweetness and aromatic flavors truly stuck its landing with my palate.

  • Nose:

Big, fatty and fudgy on the nose, loaded with caramel apple, banana sundae, sweet maple and brown sugar, a hint of rye spice and big pepper.

  • Taste:

Rich on the palate, loaded with sweetness again. Caramel apple, fudge, cocoa, caramel, butterscotch and toffee pipe up first, with black pepper, subtle oak and rye spice right behind it.

  • Finish:

Moderate finish. A bit drying and oaky, full of cocoa, rye spice, maple and tobacco.

  • Overall:

Unique and delicious, this is a pretty bold and sweet rye coming out of the Jack Daniel’s camp. It’s a unique look at Jack rye and a desserty one at that.
