Ella Jones Colorado Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made by The Family Jones, a distillery with facilities in Denver and Loveland, Colorado. It uses a mash bill of 75% corn, 15% rye and 10% malted barley, all sourced from Colorado farms, and is pot distilled before aging in new #3 char American oak barrels for approximately three years. It is bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV) and retails for around $55.

- On the palate, the sweet cornbread carries over and is joined by burnt brown sugar. While the nose suggested fruit that hadn’t fully ripened, the palate delivers plums and pears that are juicier.
