Top 19 Non-Alcoholic Spirits for Mindful Drinking in 2025

From left to right, Pallini Limonzero (Gold), Opius Albedo (Double Gold), Beckett’s Cinnamon Whiskey (Gold) and NKD Distillery Gin Spirit Alternative (Gold).
The Daily Pour recently announced the results of the inaugural Zero Proof Choice Awards, in which a panel of expert judges blind-tasted their way through hundreds of non-alcoholic and functional beverages and awarded medals to the best of the best. In this roundup, we’re going to share every non-alcoholic spirit that earned a Silver, Gold or Double Gold Medal — 19 in total.
The non-alcoholic spirits category is in interesting one. Most are an attempt at replicating a tradition spirit, like whiskey, rum, gin or tequila. Some, however, don’t limit themselves with such a label, rather opting to carve out their own lane as a whole new thing.
Double Gold Medal Winner
Opius Albedo: The only non-alcoholic spirit to earn a Double Gold Medal (meaning every judge on the panel voted it Gold), the Belgian company Opius is led by a master distiller and professor who has spent his life studying forgotten alchemical techniques. It is these techniques that Opius claims makes its products so good. The brand sources botanicals and spices known for their stimulating effects. Albedo is crafted from fennel seed, juniper, cardamom, cloves and star anise. The brand describes it as having intense and gastronomic flavors. It’s also said to activate GABA receptors, making it a great booze-free drink for social settings. Buy it here.
