Residents of the 314, rejoice; the St. Louis Bourbon Festival is returning for another year packed with live music, local culture and, of course, plenty of whiskey.

On Oct. 18, the festival will touch down with a four-block layout in the neighborhood of Benton Park. Encompassing spaces along Cherokee St., 18th Street and DeMenil Place, guests will find a variety of street performers and food trucks setting up shop alongside over 600 samples of bourbon, scotch, rye whiskey and other spirits. Those who partake can also indulge in a pair of cigar patios.

The event comes courtesy of the St. Louis Bourbon Society, a self-described “fellowship of the spirit” dedicated to fostering the area’s whiskey culture. A portion of proceeds for this year’s Bourbon Festival will go toward Code 3 Response, a local non-profit that assists first responders critically injured in the line of duty.

Tickets ranging from $85 to $180 can be picked up online for those in search of different perks. While a General Admission ticket grants access to the grounds, the Found North VIP ticket is packaged with an exclusive tasting of the distiller’s unreleased 2nd Summit batch 007-S. If you’re looking for something extra special, consider picking up the Sazerac VIP Lounge ticket, which includes five neat pours of brands like Weller, Blanton’s and Stagg Jr.
