Knob Creek Blends Bourbon and Rye Whiskeys for Latest Release

On Wednesday, the Beam-owned Kentucky whiskey brand Knob Creek announced its latest release: Knob Creek Bourbon x Rye. This new expression is exactly what it sounds like: a blend of bourbon and rye whiskeys. The bourbon in the blend is 9 years old, while the rye has been aged for seven years.
Bottled at 113 proof, Knob Creek Bourbon x Rye is available for a limited time across the U.S. with a suggested retail price of $44.99 — an impressively reasonable price for a name-brand whiskey with moderate age and a relatively high ABV.
“Knob Creek® has captivated whiskey fans since its inception and this year, we are pushing traditional whiskey boundaries with our new Bourbon x Rye blend, delivering two of our best expressions, in one flavorful sip,” eighth-generation Beam Master Distiller Freddie Noe said in a news release. “It is an honor to work with my dad to go beyond the traditional craft an unexpected offering that upholds my grandfather’s vision of creating high-quality, flavorful whiskey.”
