Knee-deep in the development of an autobiographical Broadway musical, singer-songwriter Dolly Parton has somehow managed to make time for a new wine that pays homage to her roots.

On Thursday, Parton delighted fans with the announcement of Dolly Wines, produced in collaboration with Parton Family Cellars and Australian alcohol giant Accolade Wines, the company behind labels like Hardys, Stowells and Geyser Peak.

The surprise launch will be headlined by Dolly Wines California Chardonnay 2023, an inaugural release said to balance flavors of white peach, sweet cream and toasty oak. Its label — adorned with a collage of fluttering butterflies on a navy-blue background — takes clear influence from Parton’s hit 1974 song “Love Is Like a Butterfly.” The brand left no doubt about its inspiration, saying that the wine will “resonate beyond the surface, magnifying the rare and gentle things” (an on-the-nose reference to the song’s lyrics).

“Crafted with love, these wines are the perfect addition to spending time with family and friends. So let’s raise a glass together!” the singer wrote in an Instagram post announcing the brand.

Those who aren’t a fan of Parton’s 1970s era, fret not. Dolly Wines has hinted that a rosé, prosecco and sparkling wine are all expected to his shelves by the end of 2024. If we had to guess, each will likely pay tribute to different songs and motifs. We can already imagine sipping an office-themed “9 to 5” wine or bright pink “Backwoods Barbie.”

The Chardonnay is now available for pre-order through Vivino at $14.99. Orders are expected to begin shipping to fans on June 20.

“We are beyond excited to bring Dolly Wines to the world,” Accolade Wines CMO Sandy Mayo said in a press release. “Dolly herself was involved in all aspects of each wine, and we think they capture her captivating sense of fun and sparkle perfectly. Like the lady herself, we think everyone, everywhere will love it. Go ahead, pour yourself a cup of ambition!”
