In a video from LADbible, pop star Sabrina Carpenter was tasked with tasting two whiskeys: Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 and Tamnavulin Red Wine Edition.

After tasting both in the April video, it’s safe to say the “Espresso” singer is not a whiskey fan.

First, she tried Jack Daniel’s, the popular Tennessee whiskey. Upon her first sip, she grimaced and held her hand over her mouth in disgust.

“No! Really bad. Really, really bad, guys,” she said, face contorted in pain as she cracked open a water to wash away the taste. “So bad. Wait, why does it burn? Oh my God. Oh my God, I hated that.”

Next, Carpenter moved on to the Tamnavulin, a scotch whisky from Speyside.

“I hope this is better,” she said before tasting it.

Upon sipping, she reacted with a simple “Nope,” while shaking her head.

A seasoned whiskey drinker wouldn’t react with quite the level of disgust Carpenter did, but in her defense, she was not given great whiskeys to taste. Neither features an age statement but are presumably fairly young, and both whiskeys are bottled at the minimum ABV of 40% — in other words, watered down as much as legally allowed so as to maximize profitability.
