  • Nose:

    The nose is rich and spicy with some sweet notes and rich dark fruit on the peripheral, with tons of anise, brown sugar, espresso and maple, plus almond, spearmint, ginger, blueberries and blackberries.

  • Taste:

    Uber-spicy palate with lots of ginger and anise, plus mint. Some sweet and dark fruit notes fill in the blanks as well: honey, brown sugar, sweet cream, blackberries, cherries.

  • Finish:

    Long finish with honey, ginger, mint, vanilla custard, peppermint, orange peel, cinnamon and a zing of lime.

  • Overall:

    Really lovely, spicy rye that's proofed very well.
