Combier Liqueur D'Orange was created in 1834 by Jean-Baptiste and Josephine Combier in Saumur, France. Made from sun-dried bitter and sweet orange peels macerated in neutral spirit, it is distilled using 19th-century copper stills.
Sweet candied orange with the slightest touch of bitterness to keep it from being cloying make this a lovely drink modifier with the quality to drink on its own.
