Soccer Pro Kyle Jameson Plans on ‘Delivering the Goods’ In Jameson Irish Whiskey Partnership

On Monday, Jameson Irish Whiskey announced on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, that the brand had “signed” the professional soccer player Kyle Jameson with a sponsorship lasting throughout 2024. Tribal Football reported that January is typically a time for transfers and new signings, so the popular whiskey brand thought it would get in on the excitement.
“I couldn’t be happier to sign for this iconic ‘club’ with so much history, what an opportunity!” Kyle Jameson said, according to Tribal Football. “Now it’s time to kick on and start delivering the goods for all those Jameson fans out there.”
Jameson is a defender for the Welsh club, Newport County A.F.C..
On July 13, Jameson and the English Football League announced the beginning of an official partnership set to run until the end of 2027. Jameson branding is already extensively featured across the 72 Member Clubs and is present during the Sky Bet Championship and Wembley Finals.
The brand alleges a commitment to supporting soccer regardless of level, according to Tribal Football.

We look forward to sharing all the work we have planned with Kyle in 2024.”
Jameson announced a global campaign on Nov. 7 featuring the talents of the “Oppenheimer” star, Cillian Murphy. The campaign “Must be a Jameson” expressed the importance of not taking life too seriously and being up for a little adventure.
