‘Always Sunny’ Stars Release Old-Timey Drinking Anthem Celebrating Their Whiskey Brand’s Expansion

Ahead of the show’s highly anticipated 17th season, “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” stars Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton have united to release a characteristically tongue-in-cheek drinking anthem.

The song celebrates the beginning of summer and the continued national expansion of Four Walls Whiskey, a spirits brand that the three actors founded in 2022. The imprint first hit the market with a Cask Strength Single Barrel and a Bartender’s Blend Limited Edition, recently expanded upon with a blended Irish American Whiskey that pays homage to the actor’s shared ancestry.

In keeping with the general theme, the brand’s new jingle sounds like it could have been lifted straight from Patty’s Pub. A Christmassy piano tune floats in the background as lyrics declare: “Let’s raise a glass while the gang’s around, Good times call for the better brown.” Fans are invited to record their own version of the song and submit it online for a chance to be featured on the Four Walls Whiskey channel.

Like many celebrity-owned spirits brands, Four Walls often leverages its unique connections to stardom to reach new audiences.

Earlier this year, the whiskey was featured in a cross-over ad spot with Wrexham AFC, the Welsh soccer team that McElhenney bought alongside Ryan Reynolds in 2020. Naturally, Four Walls is also an official partner of the team. Beyond that, the brand makes frequent appearances on the trio’s “The Always Sunny” podcast and a myriad of other vaguely 1970s-themed promo videos.
