Jack Daniel’s and McLaren Racing are back with a new limited-edition whiskey, the Tennessee whiskey brand announced Thursday. The 2025 release comes in bold new packaging and a higher proof of 86, up from the standard 80.

This is the third special-edition whiskey from the collaboration, which started in 2023. It sticks to Jack Daniel’s classic recipe — 80% corn, 8% rye and 12% malted barley — before being mellowed through charcoal and aged in new charred American white oak barrels. The higher proof gives it a richer flavor, balancing caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak with a smooth finish, according to the distillery.

“2024 was a fantastic year for the McLaren Formula 1 Team which saw the team secure the coveted Constructors’ Championship title. We couldn’t be more proud to partner with a brand that continues to redefine success in the pursuit of continued improvement,” Jack Daniel’s Global Brand Director Jamie Butler said in a news release. “This year’s McLaren X Jack Daniel’s limited edition bottle features a new label and packaging design and higher proof that embodies the same spirit Mr. Jack himself lived by – Every day we make it, we make it the best we can.”

The 2025 McLaren X Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey will be available in select markets for a limited time.
