The Spirits Business recently published its annual Brand Champions report, which provides a multitude of data and statistics that help to understand the current climate of the alcohol space.

American whiskey is a red-hot category that’s been growing year after year. While that growth slowed in 2023, 9-liter case sales and exports both increased over the year, according to the Brand Champions Report, faring much better than Canadian whisky, whose overall sales declined 4%.
