Heaven Hill Brands will close Deep Eddy Vodka’s Dripping Springs tasting room and visitor experience on Aug. 1, 2026, as the brand shifts its consumer-facing focus back to Austin.

The site will transition to a new operator through a sublease agreement, though Heaven Hill has not announced the incoming tenant, according to reporting from The Spirits Business and confirmation from the company.

The Dripping Springs location will cease operations as a Deep Eddy Vodka facility on August 1, 2026. Through a sublease agreement, the site will transition to another vodka producer, though Heaven Hill hasn’t identified the incoming tenant, per The Spirits Business.

The Dripping Springs property has not functioned as a distilling site since 2017. All Deep Eddy Vodka production has taken place at the brand’s Buda facility for nearly a decade, according to Heaven Hill.

The closure will only affect the brand’s visitor experience and tasting room, which has served as Deep Eddy Vodka’s primary public-facing location for tours, tastings and events.

Heaven Hill Brands said the decision reflects a broader strategy to concentrate more brand experiences and activations in Austin, where Deep Eddy Vodka was founded in 2010.

“Deep Eddy Vodka is all about good times and bringing people together,” said brand director Julie Cole. “Austin is where this brand got its start, and we’re excited to bring more of that energy back to the city.”

The Dripping Springs site originally opened in 2014 as a production facility before evolving into a tasting room and event space after distilling operations shifted to Buda in 2017. The space was later expanded with added bar capacity, seating, a performance stage and event infrastructure.

Production of Deep Eddy Vodka will continue at the Buda facility, which remains the brand’s sole distilling and bottling operation. Heaven Hill said there will be no changes to production, staffing or output in Hays County.

The company also said it is “actively looking at” investing in consumer experiences in Austin. Heaven Hill said operations in Hays County will not be impacted and emphasized continued investment in local production, staffing and partnerships.

Visitors can continue to access the Dripping Springs tasting room through June 13.

Founded in 2010 in Austin, Deep Eddy Vodka was acquired by Heaven Hill in 2015 and has since grown into a nearly 1.8 million nine-liter case brand. The company continues to expand its flavored vodka lineup, including the recent launch of Deep Eddy Espresso, which sold out shortly after release.
