  • Nose:

    Plenty of red wine character on the nose, plus apple, leather, honey, prune, clove, oak, graham cracker and a sprig of fresh mint.

  • Taste:

    Oily mouthfeel with plenty of flavor: leather, tobacco, clove, mesquite smoke, crème brûlée, charred peaches, figs, eucalyptus and oaky tannin.

  • Finish:

    Rich finish that's medium in length. Graham cracker, tobacco, leather, char and peach juice.

  • Overall:

    A spectacularly balanced single malt from a brand that has quickly proved it's well worth following.
