  • I love the pop of vanilla and more mint on the finish — but it’s the fact that you get to drink it out of a pig’s butt is just icing on the cake.

  • To me, this is a damn-near perfect rye whiskey. It's oaky, bold and spicy with decadent sweetness to even things out.

  • Nose:

Decadent sweetness and bold, brash spice. Plenty of cinnamon and clove mix with butterscotch, sweet potato, marshmallow fluff and orange peel

  • Taste:

Rich on the palate. A heavy dose of oak and tannin is joined by a big citrus note (orange marmalade, mostly), plus plenty of clove, pepper, cinnamon, sassafras and peppermint.

  • Finish:

Long, spice-laden finish. Tons of pepper, cinnamon, clove, marshmallow and orange peel, plus some black tea.

  • Overall:

To me, this is a damn-near perfect rye whiskey. It's oaky, bold and spicy with decadent sweetness to even things out.

  • Score:
