The Balvenie Eighty-Eight Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distilled on March 5, 1931, at The Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland, and matured in a single European oak sherry butt (cask #239) sourced from Jerez, Spain. It was bottled in 2019 by Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie at 43.2% ABV, yielding just 17 bottles. The whisky was publicly announced as part of The Balvenie 1931 Collection in 2026 and is the oldest single malt Scotch whisky ever released for sale.
