The Balvenie 1931 Collection Fifteen Year Old is a limited-edition Speyside single malt Scotch whisky made from 100% home-grown and home-malted barley at The Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Matured for 15 years, it initially ages in traditional American oak whisky casks before a second maturation in ex-sherry European oak casks sourced from the same region as the original 1931 cask that inspired the collection. Bottled at 47.8% ABV in 70cl bottles, the expression is available exclusively through Global Travel Retail. The producer describes aromas of honey, toasted oak and spice, followed by a palate of vanilla, orchard fruit, biscuit and mellow oak.
