  • A really delicious, well balanced, rich bourbon. If memory serves, I liked last year’s Red Corn a touch more, but this edition is still spectacular stuff. Still Austin can do no wrong.

  • Nose:

The palate is dense and fruit forward: plum, blackberry and apple bake meet custard, butterscotch, maple and cinnamon.

  • Taste:

Lovely palate that balances confectionary and fruity notes with a solid oak presence. A big, fluffy vanilla note pairs with banana pudding, brown sugar, leather, Granny Smith apple and cinnamon.

  • Finish:

The finish is slightly dry and oaky, opening with a nice toasted marshmallow note that transitions into a nice dark chocolate, coffee, clove and cinnamon profile.

  • Overall:

A really delicious, well balanced, rich bourbon. If memory serves, I liked last year’s Red Corn a touch more, but this edition is still spectacular stuff. Still Austin can do no wrong.
