Siembra Alteño Tequila Blanco is a highlands tequila produced at the La Alteña Distillery (NOM 1139) in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. It is a collaboration between importer David Suro of Siembra Spirits and Master Distiller Carlos Camarena, made from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber Agave cooked in brick ovens, fermented in open pine vats with native yeast and distilled twice in copper pot stills with bagasse included in the first run. The blanco is bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) and retails for around $80.
