A release from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, this is a 14-year-old scotch aged in a first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry hogshead. It was distilled by an undisclosed Highland producer on Feb. 3, 2009, and bottled at 57.8% ABV. It's sold as a solo product or in the $55 "Drop & Dram Tasting Pack," which includes a 50-milliliter bottle of Let’s Head for the Lobby alongside two other expressions.

Sweet, sherried nose. Caramel, cocoa powder, red grape, dried strawberry, clove.
Moderate mouthfeel. Really tasty. Pecans, crème brulee, cherry syrup, raspberries, orange blossom, cinnamon, white pepper.
Dry finish. Chestnut, potpourri, dried raspberries, cinnamon, vanilla.
Jammy, nutty and delicious. Phenomenal whisky.
