Russell's Reserve 13 Year Old Bourbon (Spring 2026) is a Kentucky straight bourbon produced by Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, under master distiller Eddie Russell. Released to mark Russell's 45th anniversary with the distillery, it is made from Wild Turkey's standard mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley. The bourbon is aged a minimum of 13 years in new American oak barrels, with select barrels up to 18 years old included in the blend. The sixth batch in the series is non-chill filtered and bottled at barrel proof, 121.2 proof (60.6% ABV), with a suggested retail price of $200 for a 750 mL bottle.

  • The palate follows suit with fudge, double chocolate-chip cookies, raspberry jam, caramel, and spice, with a bit of dark roast emerging toward the midpalate.

  • It’s an absolute delight on the palate, just sweet enough to temper any funk as it showcases apple butter and Butterfinger candy bars, and bittersweet chocolate. Gentle notes of raisins and prunes add a lively dark fruit component, becoming more intense as the finish approaches.
