  • This is a big, bold crush of a whiskey. There’s nothing subtle or unusual, here, but a real Granddaddy Bourbon that wouldn’t be out of place in any glass – neat after work, over ice with a pal in the study, or as the base of a super old-fashioned.

  • The long, enjoyable finish is earthy, but there’s an unwanted bitterness at the end that cannot be denied. If not for the bitter end, this would rate much higher.

  • While it’s not often cited as people's favorite Wild Turkey product, it's a must-have for anyone seeking a traditional higher-aged, lower-proof sipping bourbon.
