Distilled by MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Penelope Toasted Bourbon is first matured in charred new American oak barrels and finished in freshly toasted barrels.
The palate has a lovely texture and shows maple syrup, chai spice, and monkey bread sweetness. Cinnamon follows through on the finish, which has some surprising funkiness by way of licorice and molasses.
