Parker's Heritage Collection Kentucky Straight Bourbon 14 Years is the 20th edition of Heaven Hill's annual release honoring the late Parker Beam. It is made at Heaven Hill in Kentucky from a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley, with rye backset used during fermentation. The bourbon was drawn from 100 barrels and bottled at barrel proof, 59% ABV, without chill filtration. It has a suggested retail price of $199.99.

  • The palate’s sweetness is immediate and, even given the foreshadowing of the nose, a little surprising. Golden syrup, touched with citrus, mixed florals, and vanilla custard are all dominant, with cinnamon-heavy spice building as the midpalate takes hold.
