Padre Azul Reposado is a 100% blue weber agave tequila produced in small batches in the Tequila Valley region of Jalisco, Mexico. The agaves are harvested after eight years and cooked in stone or brick ovens, then extracted with a roller mill. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks through spontaneous fermentation and is followed by double distillation in stainless steel pot stills. This tequila ages for eight months in hand-selected oak bourbon barrels and is bottled at 40% ABV.
