  • Nose:

    Loads of buttercream frosting plus maple, oak, some traditional wheat character, coconut and cinnamon

  • Taste:

    Solid amount of heat on the palate, which delivers caramel, hazelnut, almonds, oak, orange peel, honey, oak, clove, anise and plenty of pepper sprinkled in.

  • Finish:

    Long finish with cinnamon, fluffy pancakes slathered in maple syrup, oak, marshmallow, cherry, orange peel, pepper and ginger.

  • Overall:

    Stunningly delicious. Middle West continues to kill it and establish itself as one of America's absolute best under-the-radar distilleries.
