Produced in Broussard, Louisiana, Jean Baptiste Rested Rum is made from the brand's Silver Select, aged 5 to 7 months in second-fill charred white oak barrels previously used to age molasses. It then rests for at least one month in lightly toasted Louisiana bald cypress casks. Bottled at 43% ABV, the rum is lightly polished and clarified through crushed pecan shells.
