Released in February 2024, this is batch 3 of Jack Daniel's 10-year-old Tennessee whiskey. Distilled from Jack Daniel's classic mashbill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye, this whiskey underwent Jack Daniel's charcoal mellowing process before being aged in new, toasted and charred American new oak barrels for 10 years.

Big, beautiful and sweet on the nose. Loaded with tobacco, bananas foster, caramel, honey, oak and peanut brittle. Really similar to previous batches: bold, sweet and delicious.
The palate is moderate to rich. There’s a bit more oak in this release compared to previous years, which is pleasant and bumps up the mouthfeel and the complexity. There’s more going on here, lacing together sweet oak, peanut brittle, tobacco, banana, clove, cinnamon and ginger.
Long finish — much improved over last year's — loaded with complexity. Sweet oak, toffee, banana and a much richer finish that hangs on.
Jack Daniel's has clearly put in some work to bolster the 10-year expression a bit. It shows, and this well-aged whiskey is an easy one to love as JD continues its climb with solid and beyond releases.
