Rieger & Co.'s Monogram Kansas City Whiskey Solera Reserve is the distillery's most limited annual release, featuring a blend of straight bourbon, straight rye and light corn whiskey finished in rare 500-liter Oloroso sherry botas from Williams & Humbert in Jerez, Spain. It's bottled at 50% ABV and priced at $130 per 750ml bottle. Only 1,887 bottles are released annually, honoring the distillery's founding year of 1887.

- While the nose was jarring, the whiskey itself is subdued, with notes of bitter citrus peel and a meatier essence, some savory spices and cranberry, with kind of a chemical aftertaste that lasts too long to be enjoyable.
