Hotel Tango Rye isn’t the brand's best showing. It’s adequate and proofed nicely for cocktails, but similar MGP stock seems to have a better balance of dill to oak and a bit more depth.

House Review
Nose:
Light and sweet, full of maple, dill, spearmint, pepper and a touch of honey. It’s MGP, baby! That herball dill note walks from herbal to minty but has plenty of sweet maple to back it up.
Taste:
Light on oak, this is young for sure. Some oak, honey, maple and toffee. Light dill and a big minty note. Moderate mouthfeel, a touch spirity.
Finish:
Short finish, quite hot, with a punch of dill and spearmint.
Overall:
Hotel Tango Rye isn’t the brand's best showing. It’s adequate and proofed nicely for cocktails, but similar MGP stock seems to have a better balance of dill to oak and a bit more depth.
