  • Nose:

    Delicious, balanced nose that I'm digging. Plenty of grape- and spice-heavy port influence, but the base rye is very present, too. Anise, cherry cola, ginger.

  • Taste:

    Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, cracked pepper, almonds, some grape-forward port influence, char, tobacco, brioche, plum

  • Finish:

    Tobacco, brioche, grape, clove, spearmint, brown sugar.

  • Overall:

    Super tasty rye. I adore the base spirit, and I don’t think it needs a finish, but the port does add some pleasant sweetness.
