Released in March 2023, this is the whiskey brand founded by Eric LeGrand, the former Rutgers football player who was paralyzed from the neck down while making a tackle during a game in 2010. This bourbon is distilled in Greensboro, Kentucky, so our best guess is Green River. It's bottled in Bardstown and aged two years. For every case sold, Eric LeGrand Whiskey donates $5.20 to the Christopher & Dana Reeves Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to curing spinal cord injury.

Heavy corn, honey, vanilla bean sweetness and a hint of butterscotch. Light, sweet, creamy, creamed corn bursts forth.
Thin on the palate with a prickle of heat despite the lower proof. Honey, apricot, lemon, creamed corn, butterscotch and a slight hint of sweet oak.
Short finish that's not particularly notable but completely fine. Full of creamed corn, vanilla bean, butterscotch and almost a hint of candy corn, along with pepper and clove.
It’s not the most complex whiskey in the world, but this is totally fine. It could use a little extra age to give it some “oomph.
